Chocolate Cream Pie

1 8 inch pie dish
3 cups of gram crackers
1/2 a stick of butter or 1/2 a cup of vegetable oil
3 1/2 cups of chocolate pudding
( I don't have a good recipe for pudding, I use instant It's sad but still real good)
1 pint of heavy cream or whipping cream
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
3 teaspoons of sugar

Put the gram crackers in a plastic bag and smash the hell out of it until it's in small crumbs.
Melt the butter in a medium size pan or pour in the vegetable oil.
Pour in your gram crackers and stir until thoroughly mixed.
Pour into a pie dish and use a spoon to evenly distribute the gram cracker crust.
Pre-heat oven to 350 and put the crust in the oven for 10 to 12 min.
Let cool for 45 min.
Make you pudding and let pudding cool for 45 to 60 min.
Pour pudding into the crust and refrigerate for a least a couple of hours.
Pour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
Beat until the whip cream thickens up.
Then top the pie with whip cream just before serving.


Sweet Potato Pie

1 pie crust ( I prefer gram cracker crust )
2 large sweet potatoes
1 cup of dark brown sugar
1/2 cup of white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup of apple sauce
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon of allspice
2 pieces of cloves

Chop up the sweet potatoes and boil in water with cloves for 30 min., or until potatoes
soften. The cloves have a strong aroma, so you really only need a couple to provide
a lot of flavor. After the boiling is done, scoop out the cloves, drain the water, and put
potatoes in a large mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients and blend with a hand mixer.
Brush pie dish with vegetable oil, and place the pie crust in the dish.
Pour mixture into the crust. Pre-heat the oven to 425. Bake for 35 to 45 min.
Let cool for one hour before serving.
